Calvary Baptist Church is committed to expository preaching. We believe the Bible is the Word God, and we do our best to keep the Bible and biblical preaching as the centerpiece of our services. When we gather on Sundays and Wednesdays, we work through books of the Bible, character studies, and other scriptural series. There’s always something important being preached at our church.

Currently, we are involved in three series at Calvary.

On Sunday mornings we are in the middle of a series entitled Simple Texts, Profound Truths. In this series, we look at simple, well-known, well-worn Bible passages and we lift the lid to see why each simple text is profound in its doctrinal importance.

On Sunday evenings we are studying the life of Jacob. This series is entitled The Power Of A Transformed Life. Over the course of this series, we are following Jacob from his birth, through all the trials of his life, to his glorious exit from this world.

On Wednesday evenings, we are currently in a Bible as study entitled The Birth Of The Bible. In this study we are following the Bible from its original inspiration, to its original languages, its translation, and its preservation, down to the form we possess today.
